A chic Californian affair

COLLEGE SWEETHEARTS UTTARA Sivaram and Henry Schreiber—both tech professionals working in Washington DC—always wanted a California wedding, as that was where cupid first struck the couple. Living in different cities meant that Sivaram and Schrieber would both have to learn to weather the unique highs and lows of a long-distance relationship between San Francisco and New York. Schreiber surprised Sivaram on a birthday trip to Carmel, California where he popped the question. The rest is history and the couple tied the knot in a multicultural affair that showcased their respective faiths and traditions in her hometown of Los Gatos in the Bay Area.
