In case you missed it, Masyadi Mansoor is the local designer to watch.
It's hard to ignore Masyadi Mansoor's meteoric rise in our local fashion industry. After making his debut under the "Upcoming Designers" slot at the 2019 Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, the designer quietly honed his craft over the past few years and presented an awe-inspiring collection during KLFW 2023. The vibrant colours - a switch from his usual monochrome palette took his already eye-catching designs to dazzling new heights. The runway show caught our attention and, obviously, the industry too, as he went on to win not one but two awards at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Awards at the end of the year.

L'OFFICIEL: Can you share a bit about your background and what led you to become a fashion designer? -
MASYADI MANSOOR: I was born and raised in Georgetown, Penang.
