After recently starring on Next Gen NYC, Ava Dash is fast emerging as a talent to reckon. The daughter of fashion designer Rachel Roy (half Dutch and half Indian) and music mogul Damon Dash, she is stepping into the spotlight with a story of her own. We caught up with the model and creator as she talks about her journey, challenges, and what lies ahead.

GRAZIA: Growing up around fashion and music, how did that shape your style and individuality?

Ava Dash: Being surrounded by fashion and music, self-expression was never something I had to search for as it was woven into my everyday life. I learned that style, like music, is all about mood and storytelling. That environment gave me the confidence to experiment early, and taught me that individuality is the truest kind of luxury.

G: Being raised between cultures and continents, how do those experiences reflect in your style and perspective?
