Actor-model Sahil Salathia chats with Ipsita Kaul on being 'ruined' by quality, and why nothing escapes his memory
-
In an industry where reinvention is the norm and authenticity can be elusive, Sahil Salathia stands out. Whether it’s an edgy look inspired by a Swiggy delivery guy (we are not making that up) or a historical role shaped by months of prep, the ‘Everest’ and ‘Panipat’ actor approaches his craft with purpose and passion. In this exclusive chat, he talks about personal style, creative discipline, and his perspective on burnout.
ELLE: How do you describe your personal style?
Sahil Salathia (SS): I think being stylish should be an extension of everyone's personality. It’s important to be authentic and not follow trends blindly. That’s what I do. I’m very mood-driven, so fashion is one of my main mediums of showcasing my art and all that I believe in.
ELLE: Name a style icon you’re inspired by and whose wardrobe you'd like to raid.
