You could say that Possession is one of Piaget's most iconic jewellery lines. First unveiled in 1990 with a yellow gold ring featuring a central turning band, the unusual design allows the wearer to swivel and twirl the ring on the finger - making it a piece of jewellery that is always in motion. It is this very quality, centred on an intimate gesture, that really sealed Possession's identity. It is a piece of jewellery that invites interaction, nurturing the bond between the wearer and ring - Possession can be spun while focussed on a book, to relieve stress, or simply as a means of diversion in moments of boredom. Thirty-two years later, the turning band has birthed an entire family of jewellery creations that include variations of the original ring, as well as watches with rotating bezels and bangles with stones turning freely at each end.
