JJS 2024 A Grand Confluence of Heritage and Craftsmanship

This year's Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) drew a multitude of global buyers and exhibitors, transforming Jaipur into a dynamic stage that celebrated both the enduring artistry of tradition, and the innovative strides shaping the future of jewellery

In its 22nd year, the Jaipur Jewellery Show JJS) reaffirmed its position as India's premier jewellery exhibition.

Held between December 20 2024 and December 23 2024 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), the event brought together the finest in the gem and jewellery industry, both from India and abroad.

With over 1,200 exhibitors, 8,000 hosted buyers, and an estimated 50,000 visitors, JJS 2024 celebrated the artistry, innovation, and resilience of the jewellery trade.

This year's theme, "Rubies... Rare, Royal, and Revered", paid homage to the gemstone's timeless allure, casting a spotlight on its prominence in both heritage and contemporary designs.

"The Jaipur Jewellery Show is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of our city's legacy in gems and jewellery," said Rajiv Jain, Honorary Secretary of JJS.

"Most of the exhibitors have been very pleased with the outcome, as always. We had a huge waiting list of over 300 participants this year, and this, coupled with various discussions we have had at the event here, leads me to believe that we will have a much bigger event in 2025," he said.

THE EVOLUTION OF AN ICONIC PLATFORM

JJS has come a long way since its modest beginnings in 2003, when the late Rashmikant Durlabhji launched the event with just 67 booths. JJS 2024 spanned an impressive 2,50,000 sq. ft., a growth that is reflective of Jaipur's stature as a global jewellery hub. "We try to adopt a new feature at JJS every year, and this year, I believe, has been our best show to date - in terms of participation and management as well as in terms of presentation.
