Sombr Says
Cosmopolitan US
|Winter 2026
Shane Boose, best known by the moniker Sombr and for his debut album I Barely Know Her, declares none of this is that deep.
All clothing Tom Ford, necklace from Depop. belt Artemas Quibble. ring Cartier.
Sitting at a New York City coffee shop two blocks from his childhood apartment, Sombr tries to hide behind oversized sunglasses, but his 6'4" frame is impossible to miss. In person, the 20-year-old's height reads as part rock star, part lanky young man still figuring out what to do with his limbs. It's a familiar picture, for me at least—I'm a proud Sombaddie, having clocked his eagle tattoo, '70s rock star drip, and signature smirk on social media more times than I can count.
