What's it all about ALFIER

Mr Moon receives some worrying news, but insists on keeping it to himself

Trying to keep a bored tween entertained over the school holidays is enough to make anyone lose their cool, and even Alfie’s cheery nature is challenged by Tommy’s tantrums this week.

But the tension between father and adoptive son leads to Alfie ending up in hospital, kicking off a serious story and a worrying time for Mr Moon.

Alfie is unimpressed when he learns Tommy gave Freddie vital info about where to find his real dad, Graham, having overheard the grown-ups discussing how to preserve the secret. Believing it wasn’t his place to spill those particular beans, Alf tears a strip off Tommy, who strops off to the park with his mate.
