Everybody needs good neighbours, but C4’s new thriller The Couple Next Door explores what happens when the people down the road become far too close.
The six-part series, which begins this week with two episodes, centres on young teacher Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson), who moves to a fancy neighbourhood with her partner Pete (Alfred Enoch).
The pair are soon befriended by the locals – blokey traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and free-spirited yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw).
