When Erin Carter, a British expat working as a substitute teacher in Barcelona, stops off at the supermarket with her daughter Harper, it seems like any other unremarkable day.
But their visit changes everything after Erin and Harper get caught up in an armed robbery, and Erin shows an unexpected level of combat skill when she fights the robbers to protect her daughter.
It seems Erin is more than just an ordinary history teacher - and when one of the robbers appears to recognise her, it sets in motion a chain of events that threatens Erin's peaceful life...
