England football star Jill Scott retired last year after winning the 2022 European Championships with the Lionesses.
Now, the 36-year-old, who has since been crowned ‘queen of the jungle’ on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!, is pulling on her football boots again, in support of a very good cause.
The former Manchester City midfielder will be in action at Old Trafford for this year’s annual Soccer Aid fundraiser (kick-off 7.30pm).
Scott will captain an England side that includes fellow debutants Tom Hiddleston and Danny Dyer, against a World XI once again skippered by Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt.
We caught up with Scott for a pre-match pep talk…
Is this a football match that you can just play for fun?
