GARVIT-PRIYANSH ON GETTING ARIJIT SINGH'S STAMP OF APPROVAL AND THEIR INDIA TOUR

At a private concert earlier this month in Noida, singing star Arijit Singh did a surprise cover of music duo Garvit-Priyansh’s song “Kaahe Mose,” telling the crowd how he had the warm soul-seeking track “on loop.” More importantly, he told the crowd, “Remember the name, haan? Garvit and Priyansh.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone India, Garvit Soni and Priyansh Srivastava expectedly say it was overwhelming when they heard Singh render their song with his sublime, adored croon. “When we got to know, we got into tears, but it was amazing,” Srivastava says.

Turns out, the duo has met Singh once, but that was much before “Kaahe Mose” was out and went on to accrue millions of streams. “It’s probably out of love that he played the song, that’s why we’re really grateful. It’s like even without a collaboration, he sung our song,” Srivastava adds.
