However, in a sit-down with Jay Shetty for his On Purpose podcast, McConaughey, 56, was honest about the ups and downs of his 14-year marriage to Alves, 42. His secret to staying together after all these years? Keeping it “dim” and remembering the honeymoon phase is short-lived.
