THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Federline and Spears got together in the summer of 2004, marrying within months, and welcoming sons Sean, now 20, and Jayden, now 19. But despite the whirlwind romance, "K-Fed" believes she was carrying a torch for someone else throughout their union, which ended when they split in 2006.

Spears "never really got over" her 2002 breakup with Timberlake, Federline wrote, adding that she called the *NSYNC singer on the eve of their wedding to address some "unfinished business".

Spears had been romantically involved with Timberlake from 1999 to 2002.

"Even after the wedding, I could tell she hadn't fully moved on," Federline claimed. "She might've loved me, but there was always something there with Justin that she couldn't let go of."
