ON March 13, William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, arrived at Westminster Abbey to attend the annual Commonwealth Day Service alongside fellow royals King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. Kate wore a navy blue Erdem peplum jacket and skirt (complemented by diamond-and-sapphire earrings that once belonged to the late Princess Diana, as well as a brooch gifted to her by Charles). William looked dashing in a matching navy suit.

As usual, they were every bit the picture-perfect duo. But according to excerpts from a shocking new book set to be released in December, things aren’t always as happy as they seem between the high-profile pair. “It’s not all sweetness. They have terrible rows where they throw things at each other,” writes Tom Quinn in Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family. Indeed, a source tells Star. William, 40, can have quite the temper behind palace doors, leading to epic, blowout fights. “He’s a hothead sometimes,” says the source. “Like many couples, William and Kate fight and shout at each other and say unkind things in the heat of the moment.”

ROYAL CHARADE 
William and Kate pride themselves on keeping their composure in public. “It doesn’t matter if they had a bad day or aren’t in the mood to shake hands with a stranger or if the kids woke up grumpy, William and Kate take their royal duties seriously,” says the source of the parents to Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and 4-year-old
