IN a candid Aug. 14 Instagram post, Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma, gave fans an update on how she’s coping as her beloved husband continues his struggle with frontotemporal dementia. “I know it looks like I’m out living my best life,” said Emma, 45, who shares daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 8, with the ailing Die Hard actor. “I do that for myself, I do that for my two children, and for Bruce, who would not want me to live any other way. I don’t want it to be misconstrued that, like, I’m good, because I’m not. I’m not good,” she added. “But I have to put my best foot forward.”

She’s getting help from an unlikely source: Bruce’s ex-wife, Demi Moore. Bruce, 68, and Demi, 60, defied Hollywood’s expectations, remaining close after they ended their 13-year marriage in 2000 (the exes share Rumer, 35, Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 29). They’ve gotten even tighter since Bruce’s diagnosis. (In February, Bruce’s loved ones revealed the actor’s aphasia, diagnosed in March 2022, had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, an untreatable brain disorder.) “Demi has been a rock for Bruce,” a source tells Star. “She’s told him and Emma that she’s there for him 24/7 during this illness.” Adds the source: “If he takes a bad turn, she’ll drop everything to be by his side.”
