Singer rejects absentee dad's apology-it's too little, too late

COUNTRY star Elle King has taken the olive branch offered by her estranged dad, Rob Schneider, snapped it in half, and thrown it right back into the comic actor's face! The 35-year-old Ex's & Oh's singer roasts her 60-year-old funnyman father in a new interview, saying Rob was an absentee dad who forgot birthdays and packed her off to "fat camp" as a kid.

She adds it was only when her country music fame kicked in that the Saturday Night Live alum even bothered to reach out-and then only to say, "Don't f**king talk about me in the press!"
