It’s only a year since Strictly Come Dancing’s Karen Hauer married Jordan Wyn-Jones, and today she is sharing with us the surprising revelation of what she believes makes for a happy marriage

“Counselling,” she says, candidly. “I think communication is massive. But learning to communicate… we get outside help.”

Talking exclusively to hello!, the popular Venezuelan-American dancer adds: “It’s about dealing with things the right way and not just running away, and I guess that’s what makes us tick even better.

“So, whenever we’re having tricky moments, it’s just seeing the vulnerable side of each other and understanding it. Nobody is perfect and there is no such thing as a happy marriage or a happy relationship with the perfect couple.”

Karen, 41, and fitness professional Jordan, 34, tied the knot in June 2022 in a joyous celebration that they kept under wraps until after the event, when it was covered exclusively by hello!. The romantic nuptials were held at Chewton Glen in Hampshire – the same spot where fitness professional Jordan had proposed.
