A GAME-CHANGING drug that can prevent HIV and end the epidemic that has killed more than 44 million people around the world, including over 700,000 Americans, has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Yeztugo, known by the generic name lenacapavir, is a twice-yearly injection. In clinical trials, 99.9 percent of study participants who received the drug remained HIV negative.
