The new PL5905 planter is a 60-foot bulk-fill planter designed for farmers working on large fields — Great Plains' largest planter yet.

The new planter is available in 15-inch spacing with 47 rows, or 30-inch spacing with 24 rows, and has some additional upgrades to the row units, bushings, and parallel links. This is designed for tractors with over 280 hp for planting crops such as soybeans and corn, as well as alternative seeds, including hemp and canola.

“The planter is a bulk-fill machine with 164-bushel capacity, so you can fill it up and plant a long day on a single fill,” said Tony Wisker, vice president of sales and marketing for Great Plains.
