Billionaire Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay's dazzling trove of music, movie and sports memorabilia goes up for auction.
-
When he wasn't trying to win Super Bowls as the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay built the most extraordinary collection of music, movie and sports memorabilia on the planet. The late billionaire owned guitars played by a pantheon of rock gods (including Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan), sports equipment used by Muhammad Ali and Jackie Robinson, Secretariat's saddle, as well as props from Rocky and Austin Powers. Irsay, who was worth $4.8 billion when he died in May 2025 at 65, once claimed he turned down $1.2 billion for the entire collection.
