The Optoma GT2160HDR 4K projector is not perfect, but offers an impressive visual experience. It is a worthy addition to any home theatre or gaming setup. If you're a professional gamer though, do stick to your monitor for now
THE PROJECTOR category is getting busier and busier every day and this trend will only continue to grow. With classrooms, boardrooms, creators, gamers and almost every profession that requires audio-visual support using display technology extensively, the market for projectors is rapidly expanding. In this issue, we take a close look at the Optoma GT2160HDR 4K.
Specifications
Design & Build Quality
The box comes with the projector, the power cord, the remote controller and the manuals. The projector is light and has a lens lid. The lens itself is rather big.
Here’s the thing about projector designs, there is not much scope for making radical designs. As far as the design goes, it has to serve the purpose. The projector comes with a clean design, oddly reminiscent of projectors in professional or educational settings. The device I received is white in colour, which is standard for most LED projectors these days.
