Electric-only models will be ditched in favour of a streamlined line-up using 'multi-energy' underpinnings
TOYOTA IS PLANNING to move away from selling standalone electric vehicles (EVs), such as the bZ4X SUV, and will instead offer each of its mainstream models with a choice of hybrid and fully electric power.
Toyota Motor Europe marketing and product development director Andrea Carlucci told What Car?: “We're trying to reduce complexity in our range at a time when legislation is forcing us to go towards a broad EV line-up.
