BMW Motorrad is now 100 years old

100 YEARS ago, in December 1922, Max Fritz, BMW's chief designer laid down the designs for the first motorcycle from the brand, the R 32.

To commemorate the century, BMW Motorrad has come out with two limited edition motorcycles, the R nineT Roadster 100 Years and the R 18 100 Years edition. Both will be limited to 1,923 units each, to mark the brand's founding year.
