The term ‘catwoman’ fits perfectly on Saba Gaziyani, the well-established food stylist and photographer. Her studio and home in Versova are cat havens. Take a look

Saba's Cat-titude

There is possibly no corner at home or in my studio without pawprints. All belonging to cats!

My husband, Sadiq and I did have dogs, too, but not right now. That’s the thing about pets, their life on this earth with us is never enough. I was neither a dog or a cat person, to be honest. Sadiq is the animal person and was responsible for bringing home our first cat when our son, Altamash, was four years old. Kiara came to us in 2000 and what a princess she was. She lived for 18 glorious years and was just the sibling Altu needed. Since Kiara, we’ve had cats dime a dozen. Today, the latest count is 14! Kiara was the first feline I developed fondness for.

As for canines, it was Cleopatra – Cleo, with love – who I fell for the moment I saw her as a little black ball of fur. She and Kovu were our first dogs. Then we had Oliver, all of whom are no more. But we have Maasha, my sister-in-law’s Lhasa boy who gets along with his cat sisters and brothers well.

But back to the cats. Let me take you through our parenting journey since Kiara.
