Try these small changes for a big difference
YOUR BRAIN
Eat walnuts
Ever notice how walnuts look a bit like brains? That’s a happy coincidence, since walnuts have the power to improve brain function as you age. They also protect against inflammation in the brain, which can lead to cognitive decline. Around 10 whole walnuts a day is a good target.
YOUR EYES
Look away from screens
If you’ve ever gone down a social media rabbit hole and completely lost track of time, you’re not doing your eyes any favours. To improve the health of your peepers, every 20 minutes spent using a screen, try to look away at something that is six metres away for 20 seconds.

YOUR TEETH
Floss daily
Only 25 per cent of Aussies are flossing their teeth every day. That’s a problem, since brushing alone isn’t enough to keep teeth clean of the debris that can lead to tooth decay and bad breath. Fun fact: nearly half the surface area of teeth is located in areas the brush can’t reach, so floss is your friend.
