Naulago's hat-trick denies the Warriors

It was top against bottom in the Premiership but struggling Warriors looked set for their first win in 11 games when they led 23-17 with time running out.

However, the Fijian wing scored his third with Callum Sheedy coolly converting from the touchline eight minutes from time to break the hosts’ hearts.

Sheedy said: “We weren’t great but we knew we had to stay in the fight and hopefully an opportunity would come.”

Bristol shouldn’t have needed to rely on Sheedy’s match-winner. They looked in control, building a ten-point lead with scrum-half Andy Uren pulling the strings as Henry Purdy and the Bristol wings impressed.
