That was the idea Blake Hodgson of Kansas City, Kansas, had (with inspiration from the RC mower in Honey, I Shrunk the&nbsp;Kids), and his very factory-looking build is an impressive piece of home-brewed engineering. Well, it&rsquo;s sort of home-brewed&mdash; Blake is part of the team at KC Proto, and making unique items like this is what KC Proto specializes in. Let&rsquo;s take a look at his awesome radio-control lawn mower, which he calls &ldquo;Lawn Da Vinci.&rdquo;The mower and drive system of the Lawn Da Vinci is electric powered, and the voltage comes from two 12-volt car batteries. A 2-inch angle iron was welded together to make up the frame, and the mower part of the build came from an old push mower. Driving the mower are tires and motors from a mobility scooter, and the front casters let the mower swing around after each pass. There&rsquo;s no mechanical steering; the mower steers by varying the speed of the rear wheels.
