October 2018

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) is an automobile technology designed to allow automobiles to talk to each other.

Communicating Cars - Vehicle To Vehicle

V2V communications form a wireless ad hoc network on the roads. Such networks are also referred to as vehicular ad hoc networks, VANETs.

t is a crash-relief innovation that transmitts high volumes of information between vehicles on crowded street junctions.

To break it down simply- Imagine if your car can communicate with another car on the road ahead which has broken down and informs you way in advance that the traffic will slow down because of this reason.

In December of 2016, the U.S. Division of Transportation (DoT) proposed another direction that would require new vehicles to be furnished with vehicle-to-vehicle, or V2V, correspondences. The US Department of Transportation (DoT) ventures V2V frameworks to avert “a huge number of accidents consistently.”

Their proposition means to institutionalize the organization and sending of V2V transmissions, which will empower makers to productively goad the development of prepared vehicles at minimum amount.
