Vlinder Labs and We Do Verify organised a Webinar on "Authentication and Traceability in the Alcoholic beverage industry". Vlinder Labs had partnered with Amrut distilleries for India's first "Digital Whisky bottle" - Fusion X. Mr. Ashok Chokalingam and Mr. Umang from Amrut Distilleries discussed current problems with authentication and traceability, state of the art solutions and did a case study of Amrut using our Blockchain-based Authentication and Traceability solution.

Vlinder Labs and We Do Verify conducted a webinar with thought leaders, solution providers and prominent people from the distillery Industry. Moderated by Hemant Rao (founder SMAC India) and Uday Balaji (Managing partner - The Whisky Advisor), the webinar had thought-provoking discussions on the current problems faced by the alcoholic beverage industry.

Some of the problems discussed were: Counterfeiting and how it affects the alcoholic beverage industry, the consumers and everyone involved; why the distillers are currently not able to convey the “Grain to Glass” journey and the story behind their alcoholic beverage to their consumers, and the inability of the distillers to engage the customers effectively.
