‘Never Stop DREAMING'

Her life-long passion for Punjabi fashion and style made her dream about becoming a designer someday. But her professional journey of being a teacher stopped her from having ample amount of time to start with her passion. The lockdown period of 2020 gave her an opportunity to take it on vigorously and put in her best. We talked to Tulika Heer, the brain and heart behind SaggiPhull about her journey of being a successful entrepreneur in such a short period of time.

Why did you choose this line of profession for yourself? What was your inspiration?

I am a Punjabi by heart and suits are my fashion world. As I have grown up in this culture, have always adored Salwar suits, Punjabi Juttis, jewellery and everything ethnic. I used to be so fascinated seeing my mother and other ladies of my family in their traditional outfits. With time, my interest towards designing suits and wedding outfits grew many fold and that is why I started with designing the outfits for my family. I guess it was always there inside me. Watching around and growing in my culture is my inspiration.

What helped you in being a successful entrepreneur?

My husband, Gurjit Singh has pushed me towards realising this dream and my passion for designing has driven me towards success. I strive to do better each day than yesterday.
