Like father like son, this stands true for some and in Pukhraj this is very much valid as he is the son of Jaswinder Bhalla, a veteran actor who has driven people crazy with his comedy and following his footsteps his son has been doing amazingly well. In an exclusive interview with Glimpse, Pukhraj spilled the beans on how he takes this comparison.
Tell us about your journey
I was born and bought up in Ludhiana but I pursued my graduation in B.Tech from Punjabi University, Patiala, I started my career when I was in secondary school, and then work kept coming and I did a lot of movies like RSVP, Vaisakhi List, Harjeeta, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua, and Afsar. Then I worked as a lead actor in the Punjabi web series Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree which I was hugely appreciated.
What is your fashion and fitness mantra?
I prefer to be in my skin, comfortable and classy than to follow any sort of fashion trend blindly. Of course, I have my go-to brands like Adidas, Puma, and Nike but at the same time, I would buy anything from anywhere if I like it. Talking about my fitness mantra, with the grace of Almighty I don’t have to maintain myself much since I am overall fit but yes while opting for a character you need to get into the character and I think that is the only time when I choose to go to the gym.
Being the son of Jaswinder Bhalla makes your life easy or complicated?
