Time-travelling medic Claire Fraser and her 18th-century Highlander husband Jamie return for a fifth season of the popular historical fantasy drama series Outlander this week.
Last season saw the couple settle in the wilds of North Carolina, where they set about building a community on Fraser’s Ridge as Jamie (Sam Heughan) finally met daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton), who traveled from the 20th century to see him and Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and who was followed by her love, Roger (Richard Rankin).
