Kelly Thiebaud Dishes GH Visit

Kelly Thiebaud, who joined GH in 2012 as Britt Westbourne and left the show in 2015, kicked off a return trip to Port Charles last week.

This is the actress’s first visit since last year, when Britt (who had been on the run with her bio dad, Cesar Faison) agreed to turn herself in to the authorities. “I had been in communication with Frank [Valentini, executive producer] since my last stint on the show in 2017, about coming back,” she says. “Frank and the writers finally made it happen! I wasn’t really surprised [to get the call] because I had reached out to Frank a few months before about Britt returning — but I didn’t know if it would really happen.”

Since Britt last set foot in P.C., her half brother, Nathan, was killed in the line of duty, and her mother, Obrecht, has gone on the lam, and Thiebaud appreciates that the writers see the value of having the character on the canvas. “That means a lot,” she says. “The fact that they continue to bring me back is such a compliment as an actor.
