I know it’s been a fair while since the last time I managed to grab an hour to pen an update from planet Foden, that’s more to do with my appalling time management skills than a lack of will. It’s been a very busy year for the old girl so far, we’ve been hauling for a friend since he phoned and asked me to help out in March for a week. It’s 14 June and I’m still here. Tonight, Gert and I are on the way back from a fairly regular fridge tip down in Paignton, delivering plants to a mail order supplier to package and distribute countrywide.
She’s certainly racked up the miles since March and passed the mythical 1 million mile marker during the middle of May which was the mileage I intended to retire her to show duties. Yet while she’s going so well I just seem unable to get to grips with the idea of moving on to a modern Euro 6 box.
