After landing another gig with the BBC, is the star set to leave ITV?

With the future of ITV's daytime shows up in the air, This Morning's Alison Hammond is thought to be considering leaving the broadcaster and focusing her attention on her roles with the BBC and C4. 'Alison's no fool, she can see the writing on the wall at ITV,' a source tells Woman's Own. The insider explains, 'With budgets being slashed, star salaries under scrutiny and This Morning constantly in the firing line, she's likely to be quietly hedging her bets.'

Alison's potential move away from ITV comes after it was announced that she'd been signed up by the Beeb to front yet another show - the reboot of Hole in the Wall. 'Alison made a splash in the pilot so it was a no-brainer for bosses. It's the perfect fit for her. It's fun, exciting and doesn't take itself too seriously – just like Alison,' said a TV insider. Meanwhile our source adds, 'The BBC and C4 are offering her big, shiny projects where she's the star, not just a co-host arguably playing second fiddle.'
