Multilingualism has been shown to have many social, psychological and lifestyle advantages and health benefits could include faster stroke recovery and delayed onset of dementia. It comes to the fore as a vital way to celebrate culture and heritage.

Wales has the ability to create a whole generation of bilingual children - and it is a stated aim of the Welsh Government to have a million Welsh speakers by 2050.
