Family slam police over Benidorm death probe

FAMILY have voiced their concerns after Spanish police shut down a homicide investigation into the death of a Welsh father of four who passed away less than 24 hours after arriving in Spain for a holiday.

Nathan Osman, 30, from Pontypridd, travelled to Benidorm with his friends in September 2024, but had barely spent a day there when his body was discovered at the foot of a cliff on the city’s outskirts.

Mr Osman’s family expressed dissatisfaction with the initial response and investigation by Spanish police into his death, leading authorities in the country to reopen the case.

But the case has been shut down for a second time, with officers determining that the death was to be treated as accidental.
