City uni chief joins PM on India mission

THE University of Bristol’s vice-chancellor has joined Keir Starmer on what the Government has said is the largest-ever trade mission to India.

Some 125 business chiefs, representatives of cultural institutions and university bosses including Bristol’s professor Evelyn Welch, pictured, are joining the Prime Minister on the trip.
Earlier this year Bristol University announced plans to open its first international campus in Mumbai next summer.
