COME celebrate 80 years since the Second World War ended with the Somerset County Royal British Legion at Wells Cathedral.

Remembrance event marks war’s end

As Wells Cathedral hosts the Somerset Festival of Remembrance 2025 on November 1 from 7pm, a one-of-a-kind event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, join us for a stirring and poignant evening of remembrance.

This is probably one of the last times that veterans who participated may be in attendance.
