Third time lucky as hopeful makes hit show
IT was a case a third time lucky for Aaron Mountford-Myles as millions of viewers saw him and his fellow hopefuls begin their quest to win the Great British Bake Off.
The 38-year-old, from Sneyd Green, was unsuccessful in two previous attempts to bag a spot inside TV's most famous tent.
Now he is one of 12 bakers hoping to impress the judges as the latest series of the hit Channel 4 show debuted on our screens on Tuesday.
Aaron first applied to Bake Off eight years ago but was unsuccessful. He tried again in 2019 but broke his hand so was unable to take part.
