Deal marks start of firm's expansion plans

A FAST-growing city accountancy group has rebranded its first ever Irish acquisition to give it an immediate presence in Ireland.

DJH, which is based on Festival Park, has completed its six-month plan to change MSD Accountants to DJH Ireland, marking the start of ambitious expansion plans for the Dublin-based practice to hit €10m+ revenues through a combination of organic growth and acquisition.

Managing Partner Richard Daly and Head of Assurance Brendan Murtagh have hailed being part of the larger DJH Group, citing the increased capacity and specialisms in corporate finance, IT and HR as being a key factor in a 10% increase in fees for 2025.

The duo is now signalling its intention to kickstart an acquisition drive to snap up small to medium sized accountancy practices across Ireland.

"We are really excited about the rebranding to DJH Ireland and adopting the systems and backup support the group offers," explained Richard, who joined DJH Ireland in 1997.
