Mspectrum Fires Up Cavite Solar Facility

MSpectrum, the solar energy arm of power giant Manila Electric Co. (Meralco), has activated the new solar rooftop facility of General Trias Water Corp. (GTWC), a water utility in Cavite.

MSpectrum has turned over the P2.5-million project to GTWC that will produce around 45,350 kilowatt hours (kWh) of clean power annually, enough to energize the latter's water pump in the province.

"We proudly celebrate the ceremonial turnover of the 33-kW-peak solar power-generating system that will help GTWC achieve their sustainability goals and realize the savings from their electricity bill," MSpectrum COO Patrick Panlilio said.
