BYD sales reach 4,780 units in 2024

BYD Cars Philippines sold 4,780 passenger vehicles last year, solidifying its position as the leader in the new energy vehicle (NEV) segment in the Philippines.

In a statement, ACMobility, the official distributor of BYD passenger vehicles in the country, said last year's BYD sales were higher by 8,900 percent than the sales in 2023 and account for 82 percent of the Philippine NEV market.

Last year's strong sales led to BYD ranking as the 11th best-selling automotive brand in the country, accounting for one percent of the market.

Of the total sales, 2,078 units comprised the BYD Seagull, Dolphin, Atto 3, T3, Seal, Han and Tang.
