Pub voted county's best twice closes doors

A NORTHUMBERLAND pub which was voted the county's best two years in a row has closed.

‘The Crown Inn in Humshaugh won the accolade at the National Pub and Bar Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Known for its supercar days, it was Northumberland’s official meeting place for the Ferrari and McLaren Owners’ Clubs, and the pub also held a tractor day every October - while it hosted Sara Cox as recently as November as she took on her Children in Need challenge.
