Lewis set to leave Newcastle in summer

NEWCASTLE United have made a decision on Jamal Lewis with the Northern Ireland international on the departure list this summer.

The Magpies have held a series of end-of-season meetings and while Lewis’ future was always uncertain after an ill-fated stint in Brazil with Sao Paulo ended in injury, he was given a little bit of hope when he was registered in the second half of the campaign. However, Newcastle must trim the wage bill and the full-back will be free to find another club from June 30.
