Isak rejoins team amid speculation over future

ALEXANDER Isak returned to Newcastle United for preseason preparations on Monday afternoon amid ongoing speculation regarding his future at St James' Park.
The 25-year-old striker was among a group of players granted a prolonged summer holiday following the conclusion of the Premier League campaign at the end of May.
Consequently, the Sweden international was absent from Newcastle's comprehensive 4-0 friendly victory against Carlisle United on Saturday afternoon.
