Cargo transport company commissions unique move

A NORTHUMBERLAND firm which specialises in the movement of complex cargo is on the move into one of Blyth’s most historic landmarks.

Harlyn Solutions, which helps to deliver major projects in the offshore wind, oil and gas, and critical infrastructure sectors, is expanding into the former Blyth Harbour Commissioners Office at Port of Blyth.

Based at the corner of Bridge Street and Plessey Road, the prominent property was originally constructed in 1913.

Now the interior is being fitted out for its new tenants, with work being carried out to preserve the building's heritage while introducing modern functionality. Once finished, it will have state-of-the-art office spaces designed to support Harlyn’s growing portfolio of international and high-complexity projects.

The new headquarters will function as a central hub, enhancing coordination across Harlyn’s global operations.
