Logan's body was found in Beechwood Park
THE father of a Brighouse teenager found dead in a park said his son “simply didn’t understand himself”.
Logan Slater, a 14-year-old schoolboy from Brighouse, went missing in October 2024, and, following a two day search involving his family and the police, he was tragically found dead in Beechwood Park on October 23. An inquest into Logan’s death has now concluded at Bradford Coroners Court.
The court heard how Logan’s family, including his father Christopher Slater, and his school, Brighouse High, had been seeking support for Logan for a number of years, as he had trouble regulating his emotions. This often resulted in anger from Logan, although this was not a constant issue.
