Haffenden takes on the captain's role

TEDDY Haffenden will lead Plymouth in the Tolchards DCL Premier Division next season after taking over the tiller from Sam Stein, writes Conrad Sutcliffe.

After three years in his second stint as captain, and a promotion-winning stint to boot, Stein is reverting to his seam-bowling role in 2026.
"I am hoping I have laid a base for Ted to work from and propel us higher up the table this coming season," said Stein.
"We have gathered a side that could compete on all fronts - especially in the top half of the table and consolidated back in the Premier Division.
